Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms govern your use of nerugo.in and the ordering pages hosted on it (together, the “Platform”), operated by Pakala Goutham (“Nerugo”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to them.
1. What Nerugo is — and is not
Nerugo is a technology platform. Each restaurant on the Platform runs its own storefront at an address like nerugo.in/restaurant-name, and sets its own menu, prices, availability and opening hours.
Nerugo provides the storefront, the cart, the checkout, the payment collection, the delivery booking and the order-tracking tools around that sale.
2. Who may use the Platform
- You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms.
- You must give accurate contact and delivery details. Orders fail, and food is wasted, when a phone number or address is wrong.
- Diners do not need an account. Restaurant owners and staff use a password-protected dashboard account and are responsible for keeping those credentials secure.
3. Placing an order
Submitting an order is an offer to buy from the restaurant. A contract is formed only when the restaurant accepts the order in its dashboard. Until then, the restaurant may decline — for example because an item has run out, the kitchen is at capacity, or your address falls outside its serviceable area.
- Prices are set by the restaurant and are re-checked on our servers at checkout. If a price or an item’s availability has changed since you added it to your cart, the checkout will tell you before you pay.
- Order types. A restaurant may offer delivery, takeaway and dine-in, and may switch any of them off at any time.
- Special instructions in the notes field are passed to the restaurant, but we cannot guarantee they will be honoured.
4. Prices, fees and taxes
Every amount is shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and the full breakdown appears before you pay. Your total may include:
- Item subtotal — the restaurant’s menu prices, including any variant or add-on you selected.
- Delivery fee — quoted for your specific address by our delivery partner at checkout. Takeaway and dine-in orders carry no delivery fee.
- Platform fee — none. Nerugo charges you nothing for using the Platform; the restaurant pays us a subscription, and no part of your bill is ours.
- GST — applied on the food value only, where the restaurant is registered for it. Restaurants that are not GST-registered charge no tax.
5. Payments
All orders are prepaid. We do not offer cash on delivery. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, which supports UPI, cards, net banking and wallets.
If money leaves your account but the order does not appear, the payment was not confirmed to us. Such amounts are reversed automatically by your bank or the gateway; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Delivery
Where a restaurant offers delivery, Nerugo books a third-party logistics partner to carry the order. Delivery times are estimates and depend on preparation time, distance, traffic and weather. Full details are in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation windows, who may cancel, and how refunds are paid back are set out in full in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Place orders you do not intend to pay for or receive.
- Abuse, threaten or harass restaurant staff, delivery partners or our team.
- Attempt to access another person’s order, another restaurant’s data, or any part of the Platform you are not authorised to use.
- Scrape, copy, probe or interfere with the Platform, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
We may suspend access to the Platform where we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these terms or unlawfully.
9. Terms for restaurants
If you use Nerugo to sell food, you additionally agree that:
- You hold every licence and registration your business requires, including an FSSAI registration or licence, and that the information you publish about your food is accurate.
- You are the seller of record for your orders. You are responsible for fulfilling accepted orders, for food safety, and for statutory invoicing and taxes on your sales.
- Customer data reaching you through the Platform relates to your own customers and must be used only to serve them, in line with applicable data protection law.
- Settlements are paid to your registered bank account, net of the platform fee, delivery charges we have paid on your behalf and any refunds issued against your orders.
10. Intellectual property
The Nerugo name, the mark, and the Platform’s software and design belong to us. Each restaurant’s name, logo, photographs and menu content belong to that restaurant, which licenses us to display them for the purpose of running its storefront.
11. Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for a restaurant’s acts or omissions — including the quality, safety or timeliness of the food it prepares.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it, and the “Last updated” date above tells you when it last changed.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Please write to us first — most issues are settled faster that way than through a court.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms: goutham@pagix.in. Full contact details, including our grievance officer, are on the Contact Us page.
